Carol Kays (Kiki) is an Ontario artist who feels her art is constantly evolving. She finds that she is drawn to our winged friends and often includes birds in her paintings—many times with a twist, as shown in her pieces Choosing Colour, Bad Idea, and In the Beginning. Bad Idea won the Mayor’s Recognition Award in the Clarington Visual Arts Center Annual Juried Show in 2014.
Kiki’s now lives with her family in Stirling, Ontario, where she holds art classes and paints, surrounded by nature. She is always thinking about her next painting. If an idea captivates her, she is determined to get it on canvas and sometimes a piece may go through many modifications before she is satisfied! Kiki continues to explore new themes and is delighted with the positive reaction to her paintings.
